Ipswich Knights Soccer Club are an Australian football (soccer) club from Ipswich, Queensland. The Ipswich Knights Soccer Club Incorporated was formed in 1998 and was an amalgamation of two Ipswich clubs, the Bundamba based “Coalstars” and the Ebbw Vale based “St Helens United”. Ipswich Knights currently play in Brisbane Premier League Division 1.
2010 Season
Knights came very close to promotion in 2010, finishing 4th in Division 1, a solitary point behind local rivals Western Spirit. In the finals series, the club almost spectacularly made the grand final, but were defeated by University of Queensland on penalties. Top Team goal of the season was scored by Chris Brown. Reserves goal of the season was scored by Brayden Hoffman.
